Launched in July 2023 by principal Joakim Hannisdahl, Gersemi Shipping Fund is a hedge fund managed by Gersemi Asset Management. Gersemi Shipping Fund is a long/short shipping fund that seeks to generate absolute returns by identifying cyclical expansions and contractions within various shipping segments. The fund maintains a diversified portfolio both across segments and investment instruments. Gersemi Shipping Fund predominantly employs a long/short equity strategy, but can also use instruments such as bonds, mezzanine, and derivatives like forward freight agreements.

Gersemi (Old Norse "treasure") is the goddess of adoration from Norse mythology, watching over all the handmade and precious little things.
